Did not see Camp Atchison State Historic Site (1863 Sibley Expedition), Ashley; Hawks Nest Ridge (official wildlife viewing area), Carrington; Pipestem Creek/Sun Florals (manufactures native flower gifts), Carrington; Fort Ransom State Historic Site, Fort Ransom; Fort Seward Wagon Train ( to take an authentic week long wagon train trek), Jamestown; Frontier Village and World's Largest Buffalo, Jamestown; National Buffalo Museum/Bison Herd, Jamestown; McHenry Railroad Shop & Museum, McHenry; Ludwig Welk Homestead (Sod house, etc. of Lawrence Welk), Strasburg; The Blue Room (where Lawrence Welk performed), Strasburg; Hi-Line Bridge ( famous bridge of former Northern Pacific Railway, Valley City; Tour many Historic Bridges in Valley City. THE LAKES & GARDENS North Central part of the state. Did not see the Lake Region Museum, Devils Lake; INTERNATIONAL PEACE GARDEN ( Part of the National Park System) we have seen it and it is worth a visit , Dunseith; Fort Totten State Historic Site, Fort Totten; Danish Mill, Kenmare; Dakota Territory Air Museum, Minot; Minot Air Force Base, Minot; Geographical Center of the US Marker & Museum, Rugby; Northern Lights Tower, Rugby; Fort Mandan Historic Site, Washburn; Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Washburn. THE WEST Western part of the entire state from Bismarck.
