NORTHWEST REGION -- COLORADO NM ,Fruita; Rattlesnake Canyon & Grand Mesa (world's highest flat topped mountain at 11,000 feet), Grand Junction; DINOSAUR NM (UT & CO), Dinosaur (See Utah); Did not see the Hot Springs Pool at Glenwood Springs; & Breckenridge Historical District.
SOUTH CENTRAL REGION -- Stations of the Cross, San Luis; Jack Dempsey Museum, Manasa; GREAT SAND DUNES NM , Mosca; Alamosa; Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs; Royal Gorge Bridge, Canon City; Garden of the Gods , Colorado Springs; Seven Falls, Manitou Springs; FLORISSANT FOSSIL BEDS NM, Florissant; Monarch Ski Area. Collegiate Peaks (nation's densest concentration of 14,000 mountains). Did not see the Miramont Castle; Buena; U. S. Air Force Training Academy, Colorado Springs; Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs; Healy House & Dexter Cabin; Leadville; Cripple Creek; Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, Antonito.
SOUTHEAST REGION -- Madonna of the Trail Monument by the DAR, Lamar; Big Timbers Museum- camping site of Old Santa Fe Trail, Lamar; Kit Carson Museum, Las Animas; Kit Carson's former abode, Boggsville; Rt. 350-part of Old Santa Fe Trail, BENT'S OLD FORT NHS , La Juanta; A. R. Mitchell Memorial Museum of Western Art, Trinidad. Did not see the Union Ave. Historic District & the Arkansas Riverwalk, Pueblo; Weisbrod Aircraft Museum; the Baco-Bloom House, Santa Fe Trail Museum.
FRONT RANGE REGION -- Did not visit the area on this trip.. ROCKY MOUNTAIN NP; Estes Park; Fort Vasquez Museum, Platteville; Rollins Pass road; Overland Trail Stagecoach station in Virginia Dale; former mining towns of Black Hawk and Central City; National Center or Atmospheric Research, Table Mesa; Mount Evan's Road (14264 ft.); Georgetown Loop Narrow Gauge Railroad; and the Argo Gold Mine and Mill, Idaho Springs.
